Seasoned gardeners know the advantages of a cold frame. Use it to harden off seedlings in the spring that were started indoors. You can start annual seedlings in a cold frame to get a head start on growing plants before the earth is ready to be planted. This offers various blooming or harvesting times. The plants started in the cold frame will mature sooner than those planted directly in the garden.

Using the Facebook API, I've started a journey to learn how to create a Facebook Application.

We had a showdown between McDonalds and Burger King tonight for dinner. We have both within 2 miles of each other so the girls and I rode through both drive thrus. The McD drive thru line had 2 cars in it and took a little bit longer than BK, which had no other vehicles waiting/ordering. We ordered as close as possible to the same items from both. This excluded the Big Mac from competition as it has no equivalent.

The dock at the bottom of your screen lists a bunch of applications that you have selected to display there. There are a lot more. You can see which apps are open by looking at the dock as well. Open ones have a glowing blue little mark underneath.

Camp is just a metaphor. We didn't really do any camping in the natural sense. Although camping in a State park and discussing/hacking Drupal would be a lot of fun. Hickory Run has awesome reception.
We did have a really nice setup at the Cira center. The new building attached to 30th Street Station. Lunch was server, a coat room was organized and RRS ran the check in table. Nice work Greg and Josh.

If I typed 'You FSCK' on chat, what would you think it meant?
Well, if you type it in shell you get a Filesystem Check. You may need to do one if you ever drop your laptop. Maybe it started right back up, after it shut down from the shock of the fall. But eventually, you may experience what I went through today.
Problem, computer starts to boot, thinks about booting, then shuts down and starts over. It will do this for hours. Trust me. Safe boot doesn't work, verbose boot doesn't shed light on my day, so we are on to the savior, our install CD.

I'm going to be presenting to a group next week. I'm excited about the chance to get in front of a group of my peers to share some knowledge. Being in by basement, or at the school yard, there isn't a lot of opportunity.

I've recruited a fellow Drupaler to present during the session. The session is to include both CCK and Views for the new drupaler. Jody, works at Zivtech and has posted an interest to lead a more advanced View discussion. It was obvious.
So now I need to know the ins and outs of CCK.
